Senior Programme Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Programme Planning & Implementation

• Design and implement programmes/projects aligned with organizational goals.
• Develop annual and project-specific budgets and operating plans.
• Plan and manage national/international events, including logistics and stakeholder coordination.
• Establish evaluation frameworks and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Document programme activities and mentor team members in planning and execution.

Programme Monitoring

• Prepare reports for management and funders; maintain donor communication.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, and expenditures; ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare donor reports/invoices on time.
• Track programme activities, support annual evaluations, and recommend improvements.
• Mentor staff in monitoring and financial accountability.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s/PG in Business Administration, Social Work, or related field.
• 5–7 years’ programme management experience in the non-profit sector.
• Strong background in budgeting/financial management; proficiency in MS Office and databases.
• Willingness to travel nationally/internationally.
• Experience in competition, investment, or economic regulation desirable. Women encouraged to apply.
