Senior Professor - Advertising and PR

The Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT) in Noida Sector 16A is looking for a Senior Faculty Member specializing in Advertising, PR, and Events to be a part of its academic leadership team. As a premier institution in media and creative arts education, AAFT is seeking a candidate with a Ph.D. in Mass Communication, Advertising, Public Relations, or Event Management (Ph.D. preferred) or UGC-NET qualification. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8-10 years of teaching experience, with a strong emphasis on hands-on industry insights and a commitment to developing future professionals in brand communication, public engagement, and experiential marketing. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct engaging lectures, workshops, and practical sessions in Advertising, Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Branding, and Event Management. - Take the lead in designing the curriculum and academic planning to ensure that teaching modules remain relevant and innovative in the industry. - Provide mentorship to students on campaign planning, media strategies, event execution, internships, and project work. - Evaluate student performance through various assessments, including creative assignments, presentations, and practical projects. - Contribute to the strategic planning of the department, participate in policy-making, uphold quality standards, and foster academic innovation. - Support and guide junior faculty members through mentorship and collaborative initiatives. - Represent AAFT at academic forums, media conferences, industry panels, and institutional events. - Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in advertising, digital PR, and experiential marketing. Eligibility Criteria: - Possession of a Ph.D. in Mass Communication, Advertising, PR, or related fields OR UGC-NET qualification in the relevant discipline is mandatory. - A minimum of 8-10 years of teaching experience in esteemed universities or colleges. - Demonstrated expertise in at least two of the following areas: Brand Communication, Media Strategy, Corporate PR, Event Planning, or Digital Advertising. - A strong portfolio showcasing academic research, publications, or industry case studies. - Excellent interpersonal skills, presentation abilities, and leadership qualities. - Prior industry experience in advertising agencies, PR firms, or event management companies is highly desirable.,
