Job Description

Summary

The Production Manager will manage the day to day for all Production activities, including thru hole and surface mount departments. Sets policies, procedures, and manufacturing standards.

Essential Functions

Responsible for directing and coordinating production, and ensuring that materials, labor, and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets.
Monitors and reviews processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
Responsible for training and evaluating production personnel and resolving personnel grievances.
Monitor product standards, examining samples of raw products or directing testing during processing, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality.
Monitor and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, and other operational reports, to detect production problems.
Manage and motivate production staff to achieve maximum productivity.
