Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Programming & Setup:

Create and modify HMC programs (DMG/ MAZAK etc.) for HMC machines.
Set up machines including tooling, fixturing, and part alignment.
Conduct first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to meet tolerances.

Process Optimization:

Optimize machining parameters for cycle time reduction and tool life improvement.
Analyze tool wear and recommend improvements.

Production & Quality:

Ensure adherence to quality standards and dimensional accuracy.
Work with QA/QC team to resolve non-conformities and implement corrective actions.

Maintenance Support:

Coordinate with maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance of HMCs.
Identify recurring issues and suggest long-term solutions.

Team Collaboration:

Train and mentor junior operators and engineers.
Collaborate with design and production planning teams to improve manufacturability.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain daily production logs, tool history, and program backup.
Report key metrics such as downtime, productivity, and scrap rate to supervisors.
