Job Description

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct penetration testing on embedded systems and medical devices to identify vulnerabilities.
Evaluate and enhance security measures for IoT and operational technology (OT) environments.
Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards including ISO 14971, IEC 62304, and IEC 81001-5-1.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices into the product development lifecycle.
Provide expert guidance on regulatory compliance and best practices in cybersecurity.
Document findings and provide actionable recommendations to improve security posture.

Skills Required:

Strong expertise in penetration testing of embedded systems and IoT devices
Deep understanding of embedded firmware, secure coding, threat modeling, and exploit development
Knowledge of OS internals (Linux/RTOS) and hardware interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, JTAG, CAN, BLE, Wi-Fi)
Hands-on experience with reverse engineering, fuzz testing, binary analysis, and network security protocols
Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and regulatory frameworks such as IEC 62443, ISO 14971, IEC 62304, IEC 81001-5-1
Experience securing safety-critical or regulated industries (medical devices preferred)
Ability to work with cross-functional engineering teams and provide security guidance throughout SDLC
Excellent documentation and reporting skills, including root cause analysis and remediation recommendations
