Senior Product Manager (Technical)

As a Senior Product Manager at Zinnia, you will play a crucial role in leading the Product Life Cycle and contributing significantly to the research and development activities for our innovative Insurtech products/platforms. Your responsibilities will include working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the fulfillment of product requirements, evaluating product performance, and managing the transition of products from development to commercialization. You will lead technical discussions with Engineering teams, manage technical and business requirements effectively, and assist in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases. Additionally, you will mentor and drive a team of Product Managers, act as a technical consultant to the product organization, and lead research and prototyping of innovative technologies and products. Your role will also involve ensuring that the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering aligns with and supports the product/business roadmap. You will act as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development, and requirements, and may lead major releases to ensure feature enhancements meet customer requests. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development to ensure successful product delivery. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 8 years of experience in Product Management, including analyzing software/product design, development, and deployment. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technology or related field is required. You should have a strong background working as a Technical Product Manager or Business Analyst/Product Analyst in an enterprise environment, with hands-on expertise in API integration, SQL, Data Analysis, and a solid understanding of SDLC, technology system interfaces, data integration, networks, and operating systems. Coaching and mentoring a team of Product Managers or Product Owners, possessing strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills, and the ability to lead individual assignments with expertise are essential for this role. You should have expert-level experience in delivery methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban and relevant tools, as well as the ability to influence, lead, and work effectively as part of a cross-functional global team setup. While experience in the Life & Annuity Industry is preferred, it is not mandatory.
