Job Title: Senior Procurement Executive – NPD Team

Location: Kudlu Gate, Bengaluru

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Executive to join our New Product Development (NPD) team. The role requires a strong foundation in procurement with hands-on expertise in supplier sourcing, vendor coordination, and order execution. The individual will play a key role in supporting the NPD process by ensuring the availability of the right suppliers, materials, and packaging solutions while closely coordinating with the NPD and Procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential suppliers/vendors for raw materials, packaging, and other NPD requirements across PAN India.
• Leverage existing vendor networks and build new supplier relationships to support rapid prototyping and trials.
• Coordinate with suppliers for sample procurement, documentation, and timely deliveries.
• Support NPD team during the go-live stage by ensuring packaging materials and initial Purchase Orders (POs) are placed and tracked.
• Maintain proper documentation of supplier interactions, quotations, and purchase records.
• Work closely with the Procurement Head for commercial negotiations; focus primarily on execution, sourcing, and operational coordination.
• Collaborate with the NPD Head for sensory evaluation and final supplier approval.
• Ensure supplier compliance with quality and company standards.
• Monitor and update progress on procurement-related tasks for NPD projects, ensuring timelines are met.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong background in procurement, preferably in FMCG/Food/Packaging sectors.
• Wide supplier network and proven ability to identify and engage new vendors PAN India.
• Proficiency in Hindi and English for effective vendor communication.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sourcing requirements simultaneously.
• Basic understanding of packaging materials, supply chain, and quality metrics.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and record-keeping ability.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3-4 years of procurement experience, preferably with exposure to NPD or packaging sourcing.
• Proven track record of working with suppliers and supporting new product launches.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹37,000.00 per month
