Senior Principal Designer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for preparing up to LOD 500 REVIT Documentation (3D and 2D), general arrangement drawings, Reinforcement Drawings, and Reinforcement Detailing. Experience in Precast and Steel Structures will be an advantage. Additionally, you must have experience working on international projects. You should be self-motivated, a team player, and able to work independently. Your tasks will include setting up or assisting with setting up new projects and performing Quality Control reviews such as clash detection and visual inspection of models. Experience in BIM management will be a preferred additional skill. Key Responsibilities: - Work on detailed drawings for a range of projects to create 2D drawing and 3D models. - Support, mentor, and train other members of the drafting team in accomplishing complex tasks. - Coordinate with project managers and/or engineers for BIM documentation and drafting work in each project. - Ensure technical correctness, project standard compliance, and timely delivery of the drawings and documents. - Lead the collaborative development of BIM Project/Program Standards. - Oversee or lead the development of BIM Execution Plans. - Assist in maintenance of Standards Libraries. - Ensure compliance of best practices by project teams and provide technical knowledge of BIM to project teams. - Conduct and lead periodic coordination meetings with project teams and coordinate & daily management of BIM projects. - Assist with producing final deliverable data sets from BIM data. - Exercise self-discipline and work ethics. - Respect and follow company policies and procedures. - Work collaboratively with a range of disciplines including M&E and Architecture; provide supervision and leadership. - Be familiar with Programs REVIT Archi and REVIT MEP for coordination of models, Navisworks for checking of models. Qualifications Required: - BE / Diploma in Civil Engineering + 5 years experience in 3D modeling or ITI Trained. - Professional with a minimum of 10-15 years of professional experience with a minimum of 5 years of 3D modeling experience. Technical Skills Required: - Advanced Revit skills and competency in the use of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Navisworks. - Experience in setting up and delivering structural drawings on small to medium-sized projects. - Knowledge of civil and structural design standards and construction methods. - Ability to understand relevant Indian and International Standards. - Aid the design/construction team in the development of models, developing client BIM standards, ensuring conformance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), and ensuring that information generated within models is accurate and clean.
