Job Overview. We are hiring Senior Piping Engineer to join our team in Chennai on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of experience in piping design and analysis. As a Senior Piping Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing projects and ensuring quality and efficiency in all aspects of piping engineering.

Qualifications And Skills. Piping Design (Mandatory skill):Expertise in piping design, with a strong focus on quality and standards.

AutoCAD (Mandatory skill):Proficiency in AutoCAD for detailed drafting and design work.

Pipe Stress Analysis (Mandatory skill):Expert knowledge in conducting pipe stress analysis to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Project Management:Ability to lead projects from conception through completion, managing resources and timelines efficiently.

Mechanical Engineering:Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles related to piping systems.

Piping Codes and Standards:Comprehensive understanding of relevant piping codes and standards.

Fluid Dynamics:Knowledge of fluid dynamics and its application to the design of efficient piping systems.

Team Leadership:Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Roles And Responsibilities. Lead the design and analysis of piping systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Manage and coordinate project activities, including resource allocation, scheduling, and communication with stakeholders.

Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to achieve integrated project solutions and deliverables.

Conduct pipe stress analysis and recommend modifications to address any identified issues.

Prepare technical specifications and documentation for piping projects.

Oversee the work of junior engineers and provide mentorship and guidance as needed.

Ensure project completion within defined budget and timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Participate in project meetings and presentations, representing the piping engineering discipline
