Senior Piping Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• 🔩

  Piping Design

  : Perform detailed engineering and design of piping systems for either onshore process facilities or shipboard installations.

• 📑

  Documentation

  : Develop detailed piping drawings for regulatory approval and for fabrication/installation use. Prepare piping information lists, layouts, and documentation in accordance with standard procedures and relevant codes.

• 🛠️

  Process Piping & Marine Systems

  : Design and engineer process piping for onshore industries like refineries and chemical plants, or piping systems for newbuild vessels such as tugs, barges, and cargo vessels.

Your Profile:

• 🎓

  Education

  : Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• 🛠️

  Experience

  : Minimum of 3 years in piping design and engineering, with expertise in either process piping for onshore industries or piping systems design for marine environments.

• 💻

  Software Proficiency

  : Proven expertise in Autodesk Plant 3D; CADMATIC or similar; familiarity with working with point clouds is essential.

• 📏

  Standards Knowledge

  : Strong working knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME B31.1, B31.3, API, etc.). Knowledge of classification rules, marine safety codes, and other relevant engineering standards is a plus for ship-related experience.
