Senior Piping Designer

The Senior Piping Designer is responsible for completing various Piping Design assignments with a limited degree of supervision. You will serve as a valuable resource for colleagues with less experience in Piping Design. Your role involves developing proficiency in analytical processes and procedures to effectively carry out assigned tasks. You will provide innovative solutions to problems in unique situations based on existing precedents or procedures, directly impacting the quality of the team's work. Key Responsibilities: - Develop 3D Models ensuring clash-free models in coordination with all other disciplines" requirements - Execute Design and engineering processes within specified timelines while adhering to safety, maintenance, and quality standards - Work within defined processes and procedures, facilitating the work activities of others - Lead design teams, ensuring tasks are completed within planned schedules and budgets - Act as the project-based discipline point of contact in communications with various counterparts - Coordinate activities within own discipline and discipline interfaces with other disciplines - Identify changes in scope and raise change notifications promptly - Provide solutions to problems based on existing precedents or procedures - Ensure work is carried out in compliance with McDermott requirements, client, and statutory design codes and standards, with a focus on health and safety policies Qualifications: - High School graduate with a diploma in Mechanical Design or related discipline or equivalent experience - Minimum 10 years of experience with a major contractor or consultant, including 4+ years in oil and gas performing Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed Design - Detailed knowledge of 3D CAD systems including E3D or SP3D - Familiarity with AutoCAD and local regulatory environments, international, and national industry standards - General understanding of process equipment maintenance and operation - Auto lisp Programming, 3D Model creation, Menu, and/or Macro compilation skills are advantageous - Flexible for business travel You will report to the Project Lead Piping Engineer or Lead Piping Designer and liaise with various stakeholders within the organization. Your role also involves supervising Piping Designers and Associate Piping Designers to ensure the successful completion of projects.,
