Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Piping Engineer with strong expertise in layout preparation and stress analysis . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing efficient piping systems that comply with industry codes and standards while ensuring safety, operability, and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: Prepare conceptual and detailed piping layouts using 2D and 3D design software (AutoCAD, PDMS, E3D, SmartPlant 3D, etc.) Conduct piping flexibility and stress analysis using software such as CAESAR II or Autopipe to ensure integrity under various operating conditions. Develop piping general arrangement drawings, isometrics, and material take-offs (MTOs). Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Instrumentation) to ensure seamless integration. Review and interpret P&IDs, line lists, and process datasheets. Perform pipe support design and selection in collaboration with structural teams. Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards Provide technical input during model reviews (30%, 60%, 90%) and client meetings. Resolve site issues during construction and provide support for pre-commissioning activities. Prepare technical documentation such as calculation reports, stress reports, and design basis. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. [5–10+] years of relevant experience in piping engineering, with a focus on layout and stress analysis. Proficiency in CAESAR II (or equivalent) and 3D modeling tools. Strong understanding of piping materials, welding procedures, and fabrication techniques. Familiarity with international codes and standards. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
