Key Responsibilities Develop piping layouts, equipment layouts, and pipe support arrangements with a strong grasp of design concepts. Independently execute piping design activities without supervision. Perform detailed pipe routing for tank farms, pumps, heat exchangers, pipe racks, and reactors. Review and interpret P&IDs, line lists, piping specifications, vendor drawings, and interdisciplinary documents. Prepare and update 2D layouts and coordinate with other disciplines for clash-free design. Model equipment, piping, and structural elements in AutoCAD Plant 3D, including orthographic drawings, isometrics, and MTO extraction. Rectify Plant 3D errors during isometric extraction and support accurate deliverable generation. Conduct model reviews using Autodesk Navis Manage (Navisworks). Work with point cloud (laser scan) data for brownfield projects and revamp designs will be added advantage. Resolve interface issues between piping, equipment, structure, and other disciplines. Ensure deliverables are submitted within project schedule and meet quality standards. Participate in design reviews, constructability checks, and interdisciplinary coordination meetings. Required Skills & Experience 15+ years of piping design experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, or related industries. Strong knowledge in piping layout concepts, equipment layouts, and pipe support arrangements. Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D (equipment, piping, structural modelling, ortho/isometric/MTO extraction). 2D drafting and layout preparation experience. Mandatory skills: Navisworks Manage model review. Strong understanding of P&IDs, specifications, and vendor data integration. Good communication skills (spoken & written) and ability to coordinate with discipline counter parts.
