Role Summary -

We are seeking a highly skilled

Senior PHP Developer

with 5+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development, modern web technologies, and eCommerce frameworks. The ideal candidate must have strong experience working with

Zen Cart

along with solid backend and front-end expertise. This role involves supporting marketing initiatives, developing new website features, maintaining UI/UX, integrating APIs, ensuring server security, and enhancing overall system performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications and eCommerce platforms (Zen Cart experience mandatory)
  • Work with marketing teams to deploy content across websites, landing pages, and email campaigns
  • Prioritize and implement UI/UX changes across client-facing and admin-facing sections
  • Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and tools into the core website
  • Manage and update web modules, libraries, and system components
  • Collaborate with design teams to create banners, UI components, and front-end elements
  • Support overall website operations to improve functionality for clients and internal users
  • Manage server and application security, ensuring robust performance
  • Ensure code quality by following industry best practices and standards
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize site performance
  • Maintain documentation for features, workflows, and integrations

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of strong PHP development experience
  • Proven experience working with Zen Cart (Mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Solid understanding of MySQL and database design
  • Experience developing within database-driven eCommerce frameworks
  • Knowledge of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive development
  • Good understanding of SEO/SEM best practices
  • Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs / third-party integrations
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • AWS
  • Git or similar version control systems
  • Apache
  • Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in team environments
