Senior PHP Developer (Core + Laravel)

We are seeking a skilled PHP developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing web applications using Core PHP, PHP frameworks like Laravel & CodeIgniter, MySQL, and other related technologies — including work on legacy applications. The candidate should be able to understand requirements based on PRD/TDD, work independently once a task is assigned, and possess street-smart problem-solving abilities without needing to be spoon-fed. Good working knowledge of Git is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web and legacy applications using Core PHP, MySQL, and related technologies
• Develop and maintain APIs for web applications
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement new features
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development
• Manage server configurations and hosting environments
• Integrate with external systems such as banks, payment gateways (PG), and POS systems

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in PHP development (Core PHP and Frameworks)
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and related technologies
• Proficiency in Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience working on legacy applications
• Hands-on experience with bank/PG/POS integrations
• Strong accounting and numerical calculation proficiency
• Clear understanding of PRD/TDD and ability to convert requirements into technical tasks
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
• Strong problem-solving and street-smart analytical skills
• Experience with Git in a collaborative team environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with server configurations and hosting environments
• Experience with API design and development

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
