We are seeking a skilled PHP developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing web applications using Core PHP , PHP frameworks like Laravel & CodeIgniter , MySQL , and other related technologies — including work on legacy applications . The candidate should be able to understand requirements based on PRD/TDD , work independently once a task is assigned , and possess street-smart problem-solving abilities without needing to be spoon-fed. Good working knowledge of Git is essential. Responsibilities Develop and maintain web and legacy applications using Core PHP, MySQL, and related technologies Develop and maintain APIs for web applications Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack Collaborate with team members to develop and implement new features Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development Manage server configurations and hosting environments Integrate with external systems such as banks , payment gateways (PG) , and POS systems Requirements 5+ years of experience in PHP development (Core PHP and Frameworks) Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and related technologies Proficiency in Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Experience working on legacy applications Hands-on experience with bank/PG/POS integrations Strong accounting and numerical calculation proficiency Clear understanding of PRD/TDD and ability to convert requirements into technical tasks Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks Strong problem-solving and street-smart analytical skills Experience with Git in a collaborative team environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Experience with server configurations and hosting environments Experience with API design and development Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate: Fort, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Application Question(s): Can you work with Legacy Applications?
