Senior PHP Developer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer to create, develop, and maintain high-performance PHP-based web applications for our Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC). In this role, you will utilize modern PHP frameworks, optimize application performance, ensure security compliance, and provide mentorship to junior developers, while working alongside various teams to achieve project goals. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain web applications powered by PHP. Build and enhance applications using PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, and CodeIgniter. Design efficient database schemas and optimize queries. Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP-based APIs. Follow best practices to ensure clean, well-structured code. Optimize the performance and scalability of the applications. Lead and guide junior developers, performing code reviews and providing feedback. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure deadlines are met. Implement necessary security measures and ensure compliance with standards. Manage version control using Git and oversee CI/CD pipeline integration. Identify and resolve technical issues efficiently. Stay up-to-date with new technologies and suggest improvements. Maintain clear documentation of workflows, progress, and technical aspects of projects. Required Skills and Experience: 4+ years of hands-on PHP development experience with frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter. Strong background in database management with MySQL and PostgreSQL. Expertise in building and managing RESTful and SOAP APIs. Solid understanding of Git and CI/CD practices. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
