Description
Role Overview: At Citco, you will be responsible for setting up inbound/outbound file routing jobs, monitoring jobs, alerts and notifications, and ensuring security measures are integrated in all delivery jobs executed by the team. Additionally, you will work with brokers, vendors, and investment managers to establish connectivity and address file delivery issues in a timely manner. You will also be involved in formulating ad-hoc solutions, identifying process improvements, and simplifying the end-to-end experience for the user community. Key Responsibilities: - Setup inbound/outbound file routing jobs in response to requests from internal and external teams - Setup monitoring jobs, alerts, and notifications as per requirements - Liaise with other groups to ensure integration of security measures in all delivery jobs - Work with brokers, vendors, and investment managers to establish FTP accounts and connectivity - Proactively identify and address failed and missing files using key file delivery tools - Respond to file alerts and take effective action to resolve highlighted issues - Keep user community updated on file issues, delays, and ETAs - Escalate issues to manager with recommendations and solutions - Formulate ad-hoc solutions for file movement and delivery - Identify and drive initiatives to reduce manual work, improve feed quality, and reduce errors - Work with connectivity group to simplify end-to-end process - Stay updated on Data Management policies, trends, and share information with the team - Perform other related duties as required Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of MS SQL Server Administration experience - Previous exposure to the financial services industry or as a consultant - Experience in an operational role is highly desirable - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Expert level experience in querying databases using SQL - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline - Ability to work with internal and external clients, vendors, and brokers - Ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical users - Good organizational skills and ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously Additional Details: Citco values your well-being and offers a range of benefits, training, education support, and flexible working arrangements to help you succeed in your career while maintaining a work-life balance.
