Job Description:
The incumbent will report to Service Head of the branch location.
1. Generation ofService Business - Attend technical jobs like repairs, refurbishing, etc., at customersites. - Work as per GMC / PMC / CMC contract schedules. - Support servicebusiness by generating sales of genuine spare parts. - Salvage spare parts andunderstand recurring product issues. - Recommend new products of the division tocustomers. - Replacement of spares at customer site and return of warranty items toHO for documentation.
2. Enhancing Customer Satisfaction - Ensure fast responseand quick service (minimum lead time). - Build long-term relationships throughreliable service. - Provide remote technical assistance to dealer technicians as needed.- Troubleshooting and repairing of Material Handling equipment. - Installation ofequipment at customer sites.
3. Reduction of Warranty Cost - Identify andunderstand recurring problems in products. - Salvage and reuse spare parts whereapplicable. - Ensure proper accounting and documentation of warranty itemsreturned to HO. - Promote use of genuine spares to reduce failure rates.
4. TrainingCustomers- Operators & Dealer Technicians - Train customer operators on upkeep,maintenance, and safety of equipment. - Educate customers on new products andtheir benefits. - Provide remote technical guidance to dealer technicians.
5.Organizational Imperatives - Actively participating and originating Kaizens -Actively involving in Business Excellence initiatives - Adhere to Compliance and SafeWorking Environment Note: The incumbent must be willing to travel extensively asper job requirements and should hold a valid two-wheeler driving license.
REQUISITE QUALIFICATION
Essential:
SSC / ITI /NCTVT/Diploma/ Degree in Engineering or Graduate in any discipline
Preferred:

REQUISITE WORK EXPERIENCE
Essential:
2 years for Diploma/NCTVT or 6 years for SSC/ITI
Preferred:
Experience in service of industrial products like MHE
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
Essential:
- Technical Skills - Communication Skills - Product knowledge - Sound fundamentalconcepts.
