Senior Officer - Accounts

Role & responsibilities

1. Responsible for finalization of financial statements under IGAAP and Ind AS for audit.

2. Hands-on experience dealing with Auditors Internal Audit, Statutory Audit & Income tax Audits.

3. Representing to income tax authorities and drafting of submissions, reply letters, appeals, etc.

4. Reporting to management over various other special reports like performance of subsidiaries, inventory ageing reports etc.

5. Preparation of income tax computation, advance tax computation, income tax return etc.

6. Proper maintenance of monthly fixed assets register, process of depreciation with shift change control, capitalization of assets, Calculation of profit/ loss on sale of fixed assets.

7. Vouching and verification of journal vouchers/invoices before initiating payments and other overhead payments. Ensuring that voucher is correctly posted, TDS correctly deposited and have proper supporting and authorization.

8. Coordination with other departments for monthly closing and provide the data as required.

9. Evaluation and review of internal controls.

10. Ensuring input credit of GST are properly taken and all requirements of GST Act are complied with.

11. Periodically taking physical inventory of raw material, store and spare items, finished goods.

12. Responsible for reconciliation of TDS & TCS with Books Vs. 26AS.
