Senior Officer - Accounts

As a Senior Officer - Accounts/ Accounts Executive at our well-established Chartered Accountancy firm in Kochi, Kerala, you will play a crucial role in supporting our audit and taxation practice. Your responsibilities will include: - Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, firms, and companies - Filing of ROC forms and MCA compliance documentation - Assisting in statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits - Preparation of financial statements, audit reports, and supporting schedules - Working knowledge of TDS, GST, and advance tax compliance - Handling day-to-day accounting and ledger scrutiny for clients - Supporting senior chartered accountants with audit and tax assignments - Coordination with clients for data collection, clarifications, and compliance follow-up - Maintaining documentation as per standard audit and regulatory requirements To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com) or CA Inter qualified - Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in a CA firm is preferred - Good understanding of direct and indirect tax laws, ROC filings, and audit processes - Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, and accounting software - Familiarity with Income Tax, MCA, and GST portals - Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and integrity - Good communication skills in English and Malayalam This is a full-time position located in Kochi, Kerala.
