Senior Officer - Accounts

You will be joining a well-established Chartered Accountancy firm based in Kochi, Kerala, providing professional services in taxation, audit, accounting, and compliance across various industries. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to support our audit and taxation practice. Your main responsibilities will include preparing and filing Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, firms, and companies, filing ROC forms and MCA compliance documentation, assisting in statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits, preparing financial statements, audit reports, and supporting schedules, having a working knowledge of TDS, GST, and advance tax compliance, handling day-to-day accounting and ledger scrutiny for clients, supporting senior chartered accountants with audit and tax assignments, coordinating with clients for data collection, clarifications, and compliance follow-up, and maintaining documentation as per standard audit and regulatory requirements. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com) or be CA Inter qualified, possess a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in a CA firm, have a good understanding of direct and indirect tax laws, ROC filings, and audit processes, be proficient in MS Excel, Tally, and accounting software, be familiar with Income Tax, MCA, and GST portals, demonstrate strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and integrity, and have good communication skills in English and Malayalam.
