Senior Node JS Developer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend services using Node.js. Your role will involve designing and implementing RESTful APIs, optimizing applications for speed and scalability, and collaborating with developers, product managers, and DevOps team members to create cohesive solutions. Additionally, you will lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure coding best practices are followed. Troubleshooting production issues, writing unit and integration tests, participating in architectural discussions, and ensuring code quality, security, and maintainability will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, test, and maintain backend services using Node.js - Design and implement RESTful APIs - Optimize applications for speed and scalability - Collaborate with cross-functional teams - Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers - Troubleshoot and debug production issues - Write unit and integration tests using modern frameworks - Participate in architectural discussions - Ensure code quality, security, and maintainability Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript - Deep understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture - Experience with Express.js or similar frameworks - Proficiency in SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) - Experience with API design and documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) - Experience with Docker and containerized deployments - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Additional Details: This is a full-time permanent position with benefits including health insurance and Provident Fund.
