Senior Node JS Developer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend services using Node.js. Your role will involve optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability, designing and implementing RESTful services, and collaborating with developers, product managers, and DevOps to build cohesive solutions. Additionally, you will lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, troubleshoot and debug production issues, and ensure code quality, security, and maintainability. Participation in architectural discussions and decision-making will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Node.js - Design and implement RESTful services - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to build cohesive solutions - Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding best practices - Troubleshoot and debug production issues - Write unit and integration tests using modern frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Jest) - Participate in architectural discussions and decision-making - Ensure code quality, security, and maintainability Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript - Deep understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture - Experience with Express.js or similar frameworks - Proficiency in working with SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) - Experience with API design and documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) - Experience with Docker and containerized deployments - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Additional Company Details: The company offers health insurance and Provident Fund benefits.
