Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior News Editor, based in Chennai. The Senior News Editor will oversee the editorial process, ensure content quality, and manage the production of news articles across multiple platforms. Responsibilities include leading content creation efforts, guiding a team of writers, reviewing and editing news materials, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to align news content with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in News Writing, Writing, and Journalism
• Strong skills in Editorial processes and New Media platforms
• Keen attention to detail and an ability to maintain high editorial standards
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• Experience in the media industry and a deep understanding of current news trends are highly desirable
