Shifts: Rotational (5:30 AM 2:30 PM | 1:30 PM 10:30 PM | 10:00 PM 6:00 AM

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with a minimum of 7 years experience in enterprise networking. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cisco switching and routing, hands-on experience with enterprise-scale environments, and working knowledge of firewalls (Palo Alto). This role involves operational support, standardization, documentation, and troubleshooting of enterprise-wide network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Provide end-to-end enterprise network support, including operational engineering, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.

Lead switching and routing operations (Cisco >90% of environment; limited Juniper exposure).

Troubleshoot and maintain routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, ISIS, and STP at an expert level.

Support wireless LAN environments: Cisco WLC (Wireless LAN Controller), APs, and enterprise Wi-Fi troubleshooting.

Contribute to firewall operations with Palo Alto (basic troubleshooting, failover mechanism awareness).

Maintain network documentation, inventory, and topology diagrams.

Shadow and support the telephony team for enterprise incident resolution.

Drive standardization, end-of-life (EOL) / end-of-support (EOS) planning, and other operational excellence initiatives.

Participate in enterprise issue resolution including joining calls with enterprise offices to lead troubleshooting.

Work with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow (SNOW) and Remedy; familiarity with E-bonding integrationspreferred.

Required Skills & Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking.

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent level mandatory.

Expertise in Cisco routing & switching (90%+ of environment).

Strong knowledge of STP, OSPF, BGP, and ISIS.

Experience in Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and enterprise Wi-Fi troubleshooting.

Basic understanding of firewalls, ideally Palo Alto (failover, HA concepts).

Experience with network documentation, diagrams, and inventory management.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in enterprise-scale networks.

Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy).
