Senior Network Engineer

As a Network Engineer at Ameriprise India LLP, you will play a crucial role in supporting complex network connectivity architectures. You will be responsible for developing, designing, configuring, implementing, and maintaining detailed network engineering strategies and solutions for large projects across multiple technologies within your area of expertise. Your technical leadership will ensure the viability of designs, flawless execution, and seamless transition into the production environment for ongoing BAU activities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Independently and in a team environment, perform medium/highly complex assignments. - Lead the proper execution of network changes & updates in accordance with corporate security policies to meet business requirements. - Monitor network performance and lead troubleshooting of complex network-related issues in a logical manner. - Research, recommend, and establish innovative solutions supporting service availability targets with proper capacity planning for business growth. - Identify monitoring gaps and work with product owners to develop proactive alerting for incident prevention. - Collaborate with all Information Technology (IT) disciplines. - Create, maintain, and update documentation with the most relevant information. - Act as an escalation resource during major incidents and outages as needed. - Perform problem diagnosis, initiate problem resolution, and provide ongoing life-cycle support for network deployments and upgrades. - Ensure project scoping activities are aligned with architectural objectives by collaborating with team members. - Provide input into the continual refinement of processes, policies, and best practices to ensure optimal performance and availability of technologies. - Continuously develop specialized knowledge and technical subject matter expertise by staying informed of industry trends and emerging technologies. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; or equivalent work experience. - Minimum 4-7 years of relevant networking experience required. - Strong analytical and customer service abilities. - Ability to communicate and articulate technical information across various organizational levels. - Strong thought leadership abilities and highly innovative problem-solving skills. - Ability to coach and mentor experienced Network staff.
