Job Description

As an experienced Database Administrator with 6 to 10 years of experience, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Advanced database design, query tuning, indexing, and performance optimization. - Development of stored procedures, triggers, and functions. - Implementation of replication, clustering, PITR, and high-availability solutions. - Overseeing backup/recovery processes, monitoring database performance, and implementing security measures. - Ensuring compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, and database governance standards. - Leading migration, modernization, and automation initiatives within the organization. In addition to these responsibilities, you are expected to possess excellent problem-solving and leadership skills. Your role will also involve mentoring junior DBAs and contributing to enterprise database strategies. Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in optimizing MySQL and PostgreSQL databases for the critical roles available. Please note that this position is based in Chennai and requires working from the office. The ideal candidate should be able to start within the immediate to 15 days notice period.,
