Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Microservices Developer to join our engineering team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, designing and implementing scalable microservices, and ensuring seamless data flow and system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and analyze business and technical requirements to deliver effective solutions.
• Design, develop, and deploy Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain APIs and data flow between distributed systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, QA, and DevOps.
• Optimize microservice performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture.
• Strong experience in Data flows using Apache beam.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or any container orchestration tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Exposure to message queues.
• Basic understanding of database design (SQL/NoSQL).
