Senior Merchandiser

As a Merchandiser at our company, your role involves independently managing the complete product lifecycle from development to production to dispatch. You should be a strong communicator with excellent time management skills, proficient in product planning, costing, and vendor management. Your comfort in a fast-paced, evolving start-up environment is crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Proto development & proto execution - Final merchandise planning with the team - Create and maintain strict TNA for all drops - Prepare tech packs + BOM for all approved styles - Costing of each style and finalizing MRP/pricing with management - Consolidate fabric & trim orders with Purchase Dept. and follow up - Ensure timely production of all collections by coordinating with production units - Coordinate with external vendors for printing, embroidery, washing, finishing, and other job work - Monitor quality checkpoints and ensure styles meet standards - Maintain documentation, approvals, and production trackers Qualifications Required: - Strong communication and follow-up skills - Excellent time management & multitasking abilities - Advanced Excel proficiency - Knowledge of ERP / Inventory Management systems - Experience in product planning & execution - Familiarity with inventory management processes - Vendor coordination expertise (fabrics, trims & job work vendors) - Costing, pricing & margin planning skills - Understanding of TNA, production flow & quality checkpoints In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that every product and collection is developed, processed, and executed at the right time and with the right quality. Streamlining workflow between design, merchandising, production, and vendor teams is essential for the smooth execution of all collections. Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position located in Perungudi, Chennai with a salary range of 50,000 to 60,000 per month.
