As a Senior Medical Advisor , you will play a critical leadership role in shaping and executing the medical affairs strategy for our diabetes portfolio, while leading a high-performing team of Medical Advisors . Your responsibilities will span from managing the scientific landscape to driving the success of new product launches, ensuring that both the medical team and our organization are aligned with global standards and regulatory requirements. You will also play a key role in advancing scientific knowledge and supporting cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for the launch of new products/indications , including KOL engagement , medical education , and scientific outreach. Real-World Evidence Generation : Lead real-world evidence (RWE) generation activities in close partnership with affiliate medical teams , regional , and global colleagues to address data gaps and improve clinical and commercial outcomes. Stakeholder Collaboration : Engage proactively with professional associations, KOLs , and other key stakeholders to build and promote scientific advocacy for your assigned therapy area (TA) and product portfolio. Medical Education & Scientific Dialogue : Drive medical education initiatives and foster ongoing scientific dialogue to enhance the knowledge base of healthcare professionals, collaborating with internal teams across clinical , regulatory , and commercial functions. Publication Leadership : Identify opportunities for publication projects such as secondary analyses , review articles , and independent publications to bridge data gaps and meet medical advocacy objectives. Regulatory & Compliance Support : Work closely with regulatory affairs to ensure compliance of promotional materials and product packaging with relevant regulatory laws and guidelines. Organizational Readiness & Advocacy : Facilitate organizational readiness for new product launches, ensuring that both internal teams and external stakeholders are well-prepared, in collaboration with regulatory and commercial teams . Regulatory & Clinical Operations Support : Provide expert medical insights and strategic support to assist in regulatory submissions , presentations , and approvals for indication expansions and new product approvals . Qualifications & Experience: MBBS, MD/MS in Pharmacology , or equivalent (preferred) from a recognized institution. A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in medical affairs , preferably with a focus on diabetes or related therapeutic areas. Strong scientific expertise in diabetes and an in-depth understanding of product portfolios in this therapeutic space. Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively, developing a high-performance culture among Medical Advisors . Excellent collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders, along with strong communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively disseminate scientific data. Highly developed strategic thinking and analytical abilities with a proven track record of managing complex medical situations and translating them into actionable insights. A creative and innovative mindset , with the ability to drive initiatives to successful completion and ensure operational excellence.
