Senior Manager Software Engineering (Compliance Technology)

As a technology professional in the compliance technology division of a global investment and technology firm, your role will involve developing and maintaining mission-critical applications that ensure regulatory compliance by integrating with trading systems and other business processes in real time. Your responsibilities will include: - Executing the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment. - Designing, building, and maintaining compliance technology applications that integrate with trading systems. - Analyzing and processing large datasets to generate accurate compliance reports. - Troubleshooting and resolving production issues within defined timelines. - Collaborating with compliance stakeholders and cross-functional teams. - Mentoring junior developers and providing technical leadership. - Participating in code reviews, design reviews, and R&D initiatives to evaluate and adopt new technologies. To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements: - Hold a Bachelors (BE/BTech) or Masters degree in Computer Science. - Have 8+ years of software development experience with a strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and system architecture. - Possess a solid understanding of software development principles and agile methodologies. - Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail. - Exhibit excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Show proven ability to work independently as well as in collaborative team environments. - Have demonstrated job stability with a minimum of 2 years in each organization.
