Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with the companys growth strategy.
Manage key customer accounts and develop long-term relationships.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Generate inquiries, follow up on leads, prepare and negotiate proposals.

2. Marketing & Strategy:

Plan and execute marketing campaigns and product promotions.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify new segments.
Prepare annual sales forecasts, budgets, and strategic business plans.

3. Techno-Commercial Operations:

Understand technical specifications and provide product demonstrations.
Act as a bridge between customers and internal technical/product teams.
Provide technical solutions, application support, and post-sales service coordination.
Prepare cost sheets, quotations, and negotiate pricing with a profit-focused mindset.

4. Team Management:

Lead, guide, and mentor a team of sales engineers or regional managers.
Review team performance and ensure continuous skill development.
Coordinate with other departments like production, R&D, and finance for seamless execution.

5. Reporting & MIS:

Maintain CRM systems and update sales reports, funnel data, and forecasts.
Present monthly and quarterly business reviews to top management.
