Senior Manager Sales - Corporate Events

As a Business Development Manager at Sodexo, your role will involve spearheading new business development in corporate event catering PAN India. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, serving as the main point of contact for clients, collaborating with various teams for flawless event execution, negotiating contracts, conducting client needs analysis, and ensuring compliance with approval processes for high-value deals. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining detailed account insights, participating in performance reviews, identifying new business opportunities, providing strategic inputs to Marketing, and building industry knowledge bases. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and pursue new business opportunities in corporate event catering PAN India - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from inquiry to post-event follow-up - Collaborate with banquet, culinary, and operations teams for flawless event execution - Negotiate favorable contractual terms and close deals to meet revenue and profit targets - Conduct in-depth client needs analysis and craft tailored solutions in collaboration with Segment Directors, SMEs, and Functional Heads - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop optimal solutions and bid P&Ls - Ensure compliance with approval processes for high-value deals, CAPEX investments, and deviations from standard terms Key Requirements: - Graduate in any discipline, MBAs preferable, with 10+ years of experience in corporate event sales - Working experience in Pune market - Ability to connect at the CXO and Senior Management level - Well versed in technology and computing skills - Strong influencing skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively - Good in numbers with an eye for detail - Willingness to travel and knowledge of the industry segment you are working for About Sodexo: At Sodexo, we promote an inclusive and diverse workplace environment that empowers employees to thrive and make a meaningful impact.
