Job Description: As a Retail Sales Manager for Passenger Electric Vehicles, your main role is to drive retail sales in assigned regions, aiming to achieve business objectives in terms of volumes, market share, and customer experience. Your focus will be on EV retail efforts, including market activation, tie-ups, customer & pipeline management. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver retail targets for the city/region through dealership and alternate channel sales teams - Manage sales in Store-in-Store/Experience Centres - Conduct micro-market activations to optimize lead generation and conversion - Interface with dealerships to seek dealer support and ensure dealer focus on retail targets - Optimize test drives and conversion through special initiatives - Develop market intelligence on customer preferences, competitor offerings, and key opportunities - Manage region-specific tie-ups to increase the value proposition of EVs - Engage frequently with EV customers and serve as the first point of escalation - Monitor sales funnel and direct product specialists to ensure customer satisfaction - Onboard and manage product specialists across relevant sales channels Qualifications Required: - Education: B.E/ B. Tech & MBA - Sales & Marketing - Relevant Experience: 5-6 years of Sales & Marketing experience with a focus on EV/PV sales - Understanding of competition product portfolio and competitive advantage - Ability to communicate effectively with environmentally conscious customers - Experience in value selling concept of sales - Strong leadership skills to achieve targets and drive teams - Excellent oral and written communication in English and local language - Strong planning and problem-solving skills for market activation plans and customer schemes Additional Company Details: The lack of focus on EV retail in a primarily ICE focused dealership structure and limited EV ecosystem development for personal segment EV buyers have created opportunities for growth and market penetration in the EV retail space. Your role will involve collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the EV retail experience and drive sales in the region.
