Job Description

Role Overview: As a Sales Manager for Passenger Electric Vehicles, your main responsibility will be to drive retail sales to personal customers in the assigned regions. Your focus should be on achieving business objectives in terms of volumes, market share, and customer experience. You will play a crucial role in activating the EV retail market, establishing tie-ups, and managing customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver retail targets for the city/region through dealership and alternate channel sales teams. - Manage sales in Store-in-Store/Experience Centres. - Identify and conduct micro-market activations to optimize lead generation and conversion. - Interface with dealerships to seek support and ensure dealer focus on achieving retail targets. - Optimize test drives and conversion through special initiatives. - Develop market intelligence on customer preferences, competitor offerings, and key opportunities. - Develop region-specific tie-ups to enhance the value proposition of EVs. - Engage frequently with EV customers and serve as the first point of escalation for any issues. - Monitor sales funnel and direct product specialists to manage TML Sales executives for customer satisfaction. - Onboard and manage product specialists across relevant sales channels. Qualification Required: - Education: B.E/ B.Tech & MBA in Sales & Marketing. - Relevant Experience: 5-6 years of Sales & Marketing experience with a focus on EV/PV sales. - Understanding of competition product portfolio and competitive advantage. - Ability to communicate effectively with environmentally conscious customers. - Experience in value selling concept of sales. - Strong leadership skills to manage teams and achieve targets. - Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and local language. - Strong planning and problem-solving skills for market activation plans and customer schemes. - Knowledge of EV/PV sales process and resource allocation. - Ability to influence colleagues and other BU manpower. - Experience in retail customer management and handling escalations. - Good technical knowledge of EV/PV products and features.
