Senior Manager - Projects Vertical

As a potential candidate for the role, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Identification, exploration, and business development of potential projects. - Offering total freight forwarding and logistics handling concepts for major projects in industries like Oil & Gas, power plants, Fertilizer plant, Refineries, pipelines, petrochemical plants, etc. - Project management and implementation of awarded contracts. - Monitoring projects with a hands-on approach to ensure successful outcomes through team effort, flexibility, and adaptability for strategic planning. - Developing a partnership between management and clients, fostering open communication and idea sharing. - Establishing a new Project cargo freight forwarding business, focusing on multi-mode services and custom-tailored solutions for clients/projects. - Providing innovative solutions for project cargo deliveries to meet project schedules and timelines. - Developing new business models and portfolios for port services, warehousing, 3PL/4PL services, and digitalization. - Engaging in project logistics engineering, including Sea/River Lo-Lo & Ro-Ro Jetties design and construction, as well as project cargo handling equipment and marine equipment rentals tailored to project/client needs. In terms of qualifications and required skills, the ideal candidate should possess: - Solid background in sales and business development within the freight forwarding or logistics industry. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients and internal teams. - Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for projects. - Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during project execution. - Analytical skills to analyze market data and identify growth opportunities. - Proficiency in relevant software, such as CRM systems and project management tools. - Deep understanding of the freight forwarding process, including different modes of transport, customs regulations, and international trade practices.,
