Description
As a Senior Manager- Pricing (IB) at our company, you will be part of the IB sell-side or category demand management team, which focuses on shaping demand at a category level across customer, visibility, and pricing levers. Your role will involve managing day-to-day activities with close interaction with category buy side teams to achieve platform revenue and growth goals while scaling the respective category's revenue to target specific profitability. Your primary responsibility will be to define and execute the growth strategy for Apparel by considering available selection, pricing, and discount targets. You will lead the demand generation efforts for the category, from driving traffic to taking actions that enhance conversion rates for external brands and Myntra Fashion Brands. Additionally, you will oversee a team of 4-5 individuals in driving demand generation for various categories within Myntra. In this role, you will be accountable for meeting both topline and bottom-line targets for the category you manage. You will drive the merchandising strategy, acquisition and retention targets, and CRM strategy for your categories. Furthermore, you will be responsible for optimizing supply side selection metrics, selecting the right width and depth of products, and overseeing go-to-market strategies for launches, campaigns, and events across all categories. Pricing strategy development and deriving insights from data to enhance growth and pricing strategies for the category will also be crucial aspects of your role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college and an MBA from a Tier 1 College. You must have a minimum of 8 years of total experience, with at least 5 years in e-commerce or related fields. Demonstrated expertise in understanding customer behavior, visual merchandising, team leadership, stakeholder management, and effective communication skills are essential. You should be results-oriented, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
