Job Description

As the Senior Manager - On-Trade Business Planning at the world's leading premium drinks company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of the On Trade strategy. Your data-driven approach and business acumen will be vital in driving actionable insights, tracking performance, and making strategic decisions to enhance activation effectiveness, optimize budgets, and stay ahead of market trends. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Business Planning:** Devise a strategy to achieve goals at a brand and organizational level from the On Trade Channel. Define segment-wise priorities, track KPIs, and develop brand plans across all markets. - **Performance Tracking & Reporting:** Monitor and report on plan vs. achievement for all activations. Lead measurement & evaluation of key activations to assess ROI and effectiveness. Develop and maintain performance scorecards for ongoing visibility to leadership. - **Market & Execution Insights:** Track and analyze 3rd party data sources to evaluate in-store execution and share insights with regional teams. Identify opportunities for improving execution scores and in-market performance in collaboration with sales and regional marketing teams. - **Budget Management:** Manage budget allocation across activations and ensure efficient utilization of marketing spends. - **Strategy & Experimentation:** Support strategy projects to test new activation models and drive a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement in customer marketing initiatives. - **Internal Communication & Presentations:** Prepare and deliver management presentations highlighting key activation updates, insights, and strategic recommendations. - **Competitive Intelligence:** Conduct competition tracking to benchmark against category and channel trends. Analyze competitor activations, pricing, and promotional strategies. - **Consumer & Customer Insights:** Work closely with the consumer planning team to generate actionable customer and consumer insights for activation planning and strategic investments. **Experience / Skills Required:** - MBA with a specialization in Marketing, Strategy, or Business Analytics. - 3-5 years of relevant experience in consulting and business planning. - Solid understanding of marketing performance metrics and data-driven decision-making. - Hands-on experience working with analytical tools. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively across commercial, regional, and finance teams. - A keen understanding of the retail landscape and evolving consumer trends in India is a strong advantage.
