Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Banking & Finance

Liaising with banks and managing banking facilities (renewal/addition).
Handling post-shipment & pre-shipment finance, letters of credit, and export forwards.
Ensuring timely banking compliances (UCFC, QMS, etc.).
Managing EDPMS/IDPMS closures, insurance MIS & renewals.
Opening of overseas branch offices.

2. Export/Import

Verification and submission of export documents for negotiation/collection.
Resolving queries in export/import documents and managing inward/outward remittances.
Customer payment follow-ups and write-off of export bills.
Preparing sample/performa invoices as required.

3. ECGC

Approval of export shipments as per ECGC limits.
Liaising with ECGC officials and handling non-payment reports.
Renewal of sanctioned facilities and claim processing.

4. Reports

Monitoring forward contract utilization and outstanding.
MIS for purchase orders and prepaid interest.
Periodic reporting: foreign customer outstanding (fortnightly), ECGC reports (weekly), and quarterly MIS.

5. Subordinates Management

Supervising subordinates .
