Job Description

As a PMR Manager at Novartis, you will play a crucial role in supporting decision-making processes by designing innovative research approaches, leading primary market research activities, and evaluating brand performance and market trends through statistical analysis techniques. Your responsibilities will include: - Driving innovation and capability building to enhance process efficiency and value of Insights, incorporating new techniques, data sources, automation, and AI. - Influencing senior leaders within Novartis and understanding brand teams" perspectives, objectives, and support requirements. - Leading the experimentation and global adoption of innovative PMR solutions. - Monitoring the execution of PMR projects to support the performance and growth of key brand strategies. - Designing and executing primary market research to deliver insights to brand teams. - Establishing expectations and approaches to better understand and impact patient journeys. - Fostering a continuous improvement mindset within the team regarding data analysis. - Planning and designing market research analyses based on a deep understanding of research tools, techniques, datasets, and available resources. - Providing effective guidance for study planning, including research material design. - Offering alternative proposals and suggestions for optimizing approaches and synergies with other studies. - Implementing and executing studies at local, regional, and global levels. - Designing and implementing new statistical methodologies, processes, and solutions to enhance current research practices. - Assisting in achieving financial targets for PMR and meeting performance-related KPIs. Essential requirements for this role include: - 10+ years of experience in market research or specialist agencies. - Managing multi-methodology market research projects across multiple markets. - Working in commercial primary market research teams and collaborating in a matrix environment. - Strong project management skills, including scoping, defining deliverables, and business case development. - Business acumen, solution-oriented mindset, budget management, and P&L understanding. - Experience in remote relationship management and preferred knowledge of disease areas within the Pharma sector. - University degree in business, statistics, mathematics, medicine, sciences, health economics, sociology, or psychology.
