Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Senior Manager Legal & Compliance

Key Responsibilities

Provide
legal advisory
services to management and departments.
Draft, review, and vet
agreements, MOUs, NDAs, HR documents, notices
, and internal policies.
Maintain a
statutory compliance register and calendar
labour laws, hospital licences, trust/NGO compliances, etc.
Coordinate with external lawyers for
litigation and legal proceedings
(civil, criminal, labour, consumer, regulatory).
Maintain a
litigation tracker
and ensure timely filing of replies and other documents.
Assist in developing and updating
policies
: POSH, code of conduct, whistle-blower, vendor ethics, etc.
Conduct
training sessions
on legal and compliance topics for employees.

Required Candidate Profile

LL.B
from a recognised university;
LL.M
is an added advantage.
512 years
of experience in litigation, corporate advisory, or in-house legal roles.
Sound knowledge of
civil, criminal, contract, and labour laws
.
Experience with
healthcare / hospitals / NGOs / CSR
preferred.
Excellent drafting skills in
English and Hindi
.
Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently with multiple stakeholders.
Willingness to work in
rural Bihar
and travel to other centers as required.
