Job Description

Manage end-to-end compliance under GST, including filings, reconciliations, and audits.
Handle customs compliance for imports/exports including SEZ, EOU, bonded warehousing.
Ensure optimal tax structure for domestic and international transactions.
Lead indirect tax assessments, litigation, and coordination with external consultants.
Monitor legislative changes and assess their business impact.
Ensure indirect tax accounting is compliant with US GAAP and SOX requirements.
Develop and maintain SOX-compliant documentation for key tax processes.
Work with supply chain and commercial teams to optimize tax planning.
Coordinate with group tax team on transfer pricing implications and global VAT/GST exposures.

Qualifications

CA with 10–14 years’ experience in indirect taxation within MNCs (preferably pharma).
Deep knowledge of Indian GST, customs, and export incentives.
Experience in tax audits, litigation, and working with legal advisors.
Familiarity with US GAAP tax accounting and SOX compliance.
Proficiency in SAP and indirect tax tools
