Senior Manager, GBS CPM Governance

In this role at Standard Chartered Bank, you will be working within the Credit and Portfolio Management (CPM) team to manage non-financial risks by spearheading the governance and operations across the business. Your responsibilities will include coordinating NFRC participation, supporting business teams in managing governance requirements, and collaborating with key stakeholders to embed conduct risk and controls within the Non-Core Equity responsibilities. You will also be expected to maintain strong relationships with various departments to ensure compliance with regulatory and policy requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Display exemplary conduct and adhere to the Group's Values and Code of Conduct. - Identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters effectively and collaboratively. - Engage with key stakeholders including CPM Governance team, Global and Regional CPM teams, Group CFCC, Group Operational Risk, CCIB and Risk Technology, and CCIB and Group COO Offices. Qualifications: - 8+ years of experience in risk management in banking. - Strong understanding of process and business risk. - Knowledge of corporate lending and preferably an understanding of equity and quasi-equity investment products. - Proficient in interpersonal skills, networking, influencing, and decision-making. - Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills. - Ability to engage and drive outcomes effectively across stakeholder groups.
