Senior Manager Finance (CFO)

As the Finance Manager for vessel operations, charters, and logistics, your role involves leading strategic financial oversight to align financial strategies with business goals across global shipping routes and asset portfolios. You will provide insights on capital allocation, fleet investments, and operational efficiency. Your key responsibilities include: - Leading financial planning and analysis for vessel operations, charters, and logistics - Aligning financial strategies with business goals across global shipping routes and asset portfolios - Providing insights on capital allocation, fleet investments, and operational efficiency You will also oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements and regulatory submissions while ensuring compliance with international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and maritime tax laws. Acting as the primary liaison with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders is crucial in this role. Monitoring voyage profitability, freight income, and port disbursements, and managing cost control initiatives across dry-docking, maintenance, and fuel consumption will be part of your responsibilities. Supporting billing and recovery activities tied to vessel operations and client contracts is also essential. In terms of ERP & Systems Integration, you will implement and manage ERP systems (e.g., IFS, Anaplan) for financial data accuracy and ensure seamless integration between finance, operations, and vessel accounting teams. As a leader, you will mentor a team of finance professionals and vessel accountants, identify skill gaps, and foster growth through structured development programs. Promoting collaboration across departments to improve financial literacy and transparency will be key to your success. Performance monitoring & forecasting will involve conducting variance analysis, monitoring budgets against actuals, delivering periodic reports with commentary for senior leadership and board members, and supporting strategic decisions with scenario modeling and risk assessments.
