Job Description

Chartered Accountant Mandatory. Maintaining and executing internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue,
costs, and programme budgets and actual expenditures;Coordinating all audit activity;Consistently analyzing of financial data and presenting financial reports in anaccurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annualfinancial statements; monitor progress, changes and keep senior leadershipabreast of the financial status;Assisting leadership in the annual budgeting and planning process; administeringand reviewing all financial plans and comparing to actual results with a view toidentifying, explaining and correcting variances as appropriate;Senior Manager Finance &Supporting the MDO in engaging the boards audit and finance committeesaround issues and trends in financial operating models and delivery;Overseeing all financial, project/programme and grants accounting; ensuring thatexpenditures are consistently aligned with grant and programme budgetsthroughout the grant/fund period; collating financial reporting materials forgovernment, corporate, and foundation grants;Managing organizational cash flow forecasting by working in partnership with theProgramme Heads; collaborating with Programme Heads to assess the financialefficacy of programme operations and establish finance and administrativesystems to support programme operations;Managing and tracking the performance of invested assets, in alignment with thepolicies and investment guidelines;Leveraging strengths of the finance team members; providing clarity on the rolesand responsibilities; developing and implementing training programmes tomaximize and help them reach optimal individual and organizational goals;Providing leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at alllevels throughout the organization; creating and promoting a positive andsupportive work environment.Closely monitor cash flow and financial performance to ensure the financialhealth of the organization. Analyze cash inflows and outflows, track and manageworking capital, and make recommendations for improving cash flowmanagement.Payroll processing - ensure accurate calculation of employee wages, deductions,and taxes. Maintain payroll records, process payroll payments, and ensurecompliance with payroll laws and regulations. Also handle payroll-relatedinquiries from employees and address any payroll-related issues.
