Senior Manager Engineering

Role Overview: As a Senior Manager Engineering at Enerdyne, you will play a crucial role in the success of the business by leading new product development initiatives with engineering excellence. You will also be responsible for providing field application and technical support, as well as overseeing vendor development and supplier audits. Your role will involve collaborating closely with customers" engineering departments, addressing design requirements, and ensuring high-quality product offerings. Key Responsibilities: - Lead New Product Development with engineering excellence: - Collaborate closely with customers" engineering departments to understand design requirements and technical specifications. - Provide technical leadership to the business development team during the design, validation, and approval process. - Lead projects for High Frequency Cable & Data Connector Cable Assemblies, especially FAKRA, Ethernet, RF & HV connectors. - Field Application & Technical Support: - Lead technical discussions with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, providing field application support. - Address customer complaints and design or quality-related issues, ensuring timely resolution. - Establish and maintain a robust system of technical documentation, product data, and application specifications within the company. - Vendor Development and Supplier Audit: - Evaluate international supplier partners to ensure products meet industry and customer-specific quality standards. Qualification Required: - Strong technical foundation with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering. - 8-12 years of experience in the automotive components industry with 3-5 years in a leadership role in engineering/product development. - Knowledge of testing, validation protocols, and documentation. - Proficiency in AutoCAD and Creo or similar software. - Experience in Fuse Box, Automotive connector, or wire harness design, FAKRA & Data Connectors are strongly desired.
