Senior Manager, Digital Products

Role Overview: As a Senior Manager at the U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) in the Digital & Innovation group, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of data engineers, data scientists, and data analysts. Your primary role will be to drive innovations and deliver digital solutions by leveraging Data Services/Business Intelligence capabilities. You will play a crucial part in instrumenting critical metrics, identifying improvement opportunities, collaborating with Product teams for scalable solutions, and monitoring their performance to make a significant impact at USP. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team of Data Engineers and Data scientists. - Foster a data-driven culture within the D&I department to drive business decisions. - Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement best practices, and drive innovation. - Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies within the Digital & Innovation group. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Statistics, or equivalent experience. - Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in data engineering/analytics, with at least 4 years in a leadership role. - Proven track record in developing and implementing scalable data products. - Strong proficiency in analytics tools and platforms like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Power BI. - Proficiency in Data Engineering, Authoring, and Data governance tools like AWS Redshift, Snowflake, ADF, Data Bricks, Azure Purview, etc. - Experience in ETL pipelines, Workflow management, AI, Gen AI, ML applications, and knowledge graphs. - Strong understanding of data virtualization, data quality frameworks, and managing complex data pipelines. - Proficiency in data modeling techniques, communication, presentation, problem-solving, and strategic thinking. - Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, inspire a team, and collaborate cross-functionally. - Experience in data governance, ensuring data quality, compliance with regulations, and developing a digital data services strategy aligned with D&I goals. - Stay current with industry trends, explore new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance digital program experience. - Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and ability to communicate complex data insights to senior leadership and stakeholders effectively.,
