As a Strategic Business Partner in the Purchase function, your role will involve planning and delivering materials with optimized cost and working capital usage. This includes strategic negotiations, financial analysis, and cost management based on market outlook and economic indicators. Key responsibilities include: - Analyzing macro-economic indicators and tracking commodity price movements for forecasting purposes - Conducting financial analysis of vendor partners and rating them from a financial perspective - Identifying opportunities for cost reduction using analytics tools - Formulating budgeted material cost reduction/increase targets based on insights - Influencing decisions in Sourcing Council meetings - Managing PO approval process, conducting PO analysis, and cost benchmarking - Designing, implementing, and monitoring procurement policies and procedures - Monitoring company inventory performance and analyzing for efficiency improvements - Reporting on Commodity verticals" cost reduction/increase performance In terms of qualifications, we are looking for candidates with: - Education: CA/ICWA/MBA + Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in the relevant domain - Experience in the auto industry will be an advantage Desired Skills & Competencies: - Proficiency in Excel and MS Office with a willingness to work hands-on - Familiarity with SAP modules will be an advantage Additionally, the ideal candidate will exhibit the following leadership behaviors: - Agility: Tenacity towards achieving challenging goals and adapting to various situations - Risk-taking: Willingness to question the status quo and take on challenges despite uncertainties - Empowerment: Sharing authority and responsibility for decision-making and maximizing team capabilities - Ownership: Developing a sense of enterprise and being accountable for quality outcomes - Accountability: Taking full responsibility for tasks and outcomes - Collaboration: Working effectively with internal and external partners, sharing information and expertise - Passion for customer: Implementing practices to meet customer needs and building alliances with stakeholders Your interactions will involve stakeholders from internal teams such as Procurement & SCM, Finance, Operations, Quality Controls, IT, as well as external partners like Suppliers, Logistics & Transportation Partners, and FIs and Regulatory agencies.,
