Senior Manager - Cloud Security

Purpose/Objective

We are seeking dedicated and skilled professionals to join our cybersecurity team. The objective of this role is to protect our organization's digital assets by implementing robust security measures, monitoring for potential threats, and responding to security incidents. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices, and will work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of modular cloud-based systems. - Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices. - Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security. - Identify, analyse, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues. - Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements. - Perform threat modelling and design reviews to evaluate the introduction of new technologies’ security implications and requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures throughout the software development lifecycle. - Create and maintain comprehensive security documentation, including risk assessments, security policies, and procedures. - Attract, develop, and retain talent, improving productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness of the team. - Foster an environment of learning, excellence, and innovation within the team and across teams. - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members. - Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. - Ensure continuous professional development of team members.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. 10-12 years of experience in cloud security, including architecting and implementing solutions on platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure. Proven experience in application security, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing. Strong understanding of secure coding practices and knowledge of common security vulnerabilities. Familiarity with security standards and frameworks such as OWASP, ISO 27001, and NIST. Experience with security testing tools and automation. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP are a plus. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
